How we choose the right treatment
Most foot and ankle problems have more than one reasonable path forward.
We start with the least invasive option that can realistically fix the problem — footwear changes, orthotics, injections, or physical therapy — and reserve surgery for cases where conservative care has run its course or the deformity will keep getting worse without it.
Every plan starts with an exam, a gait review, and imaging when it will change the decision. You leave the first visit knowing what is wrong, what your options are, and what recovery actually looks like for each one.
